PROCESS DESCRIPTION
ORCA utilizes an aerobic digestion process that converts food waste into an environmentally benign liquid that is safe for discharge into the municipal wastewater system. ORCA’s use of its proprietary microorganism solution (Biochips, oxygen and water) creates the perfect environment for aerobic digestion. The benign liquid exiting the technology passes through a screen with holes the size of the tip of a pencil (0.5mm) before entering the sanitary sewer system. It is an entirely natural process without grinding or shredding, chemicals, and solids generated that require additional handling. There also is significant reduction in odor. ORCA operates in over a dozen countries with a global distribution network.
